Visualizing can be a powerful tool that uses your imagination to create your desires. It can be a key starting point in your process of becoming more organized, and, if you let it, it can change your life. In a relaxed, peaceful state of mind, you can use all of your senses to see, hear, touch, smell, and feel how it is to have what you want. When you do this inner work, your subconscious mind can experience life-changes before anything actually happens in your external world. The outer manifestation can be pulled to you in amazing and unexpected ways, like a magnet.
One very reluctant and rather depressed student of mine, who had clutter throughout her house, finally decided to try this. I remember her feeling very confused and frustrated when she started. She took a few deep breaths, settled in, and began to relax into this process. When the exercise was complete, she lit up, stood up, and excitedly described every space in her home, just as she wanted it. She had let go of all her confusion and the burden of her clutter, and was totally clear and very excited when she finished. What she was able to picture in her mind motivated and inspired her. Within four months, she had cleared out every room in her house and created the spaces she had pictured in her mind. When she opened up to experience in her mind what she wanted to experience in her home, she was able to discover and create what she wanted. Her magical mind and her imagination became her “magic wand!”
